Biography

Dr Graeme Sherriff joined the Sustainable Housing and Urban Studies Unit (SHUSU) at the University of Salford, UK, in September 2013, having been a post-doctorial Research Associate at the University of Manchester for eight years. He leads the unit’s Sustainability and Society theme, and his research concerns the relationship between environmental sustainability and social justice through empirical work on energy efficient retrofit, fuel poverty, sustainable transport, and community food. He has also worked in local government in transportation and health policy, and the NGO sector as a community organiser in sustainable transport.
