Biography

Rupert Doney is a PhD candidate at the University of Newcastle. He has a background in human geography and development studies, focusing on housing policy and provision. He has a continued interest in the relationship between systems of housing provision, technologies and energy use. Rupert’s current research investigates the provision and use of residential retrofit, and is informed from the everyday experiences and practices of housing retrofit professionals and householders.
